Texas Pecan - This Year’s Fan Favorite
Our Texas Pecan whiskey was our top online seller this year. It’s no surprise this is a fan favorite, containing no artificial preservatives or flavors, just real, roasted pecans from San Saba, Texas – the world capital of Pecans. Celebrating One Year of Standard Proof – Austin!
February marked a major milestone for Standard Proof Whiskey – the one-year anniversary of our Austin tasting room! We’re incredibly proud of how this space has become a hub for whiskey lovers to explore our unique offerings, including our flavored whiskey and rye whiskey lineups.
Over the spring, we took things up a notch with some exciting updates to the tasting room. These improvements include a refreshed design to enhance the welcoming atmosphere and upgraded spaces to better showcase our Tennessee whiskey and craft cocktail creations. Visitors can now enjoy an even more immersive experience, whether they’re savoring a classic Old Fashioned or trying one of our seasonal cocktail specials.

In October, we hosted a big celebration to mark FOUR YEARS of Standard Proof Whiskey in Nashville! This milestone was a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come while connecting with the community that has made it all possible. Our tasting room was buzzing with energy as we shared our gratitude with customers, friends, and local whiskey enthusiasts. From live music and local vendors to special cocktails showcasing our Tennessee whiskey and flavored whiskey favorites, the event was an unforgettable toast to our journey so far. We’re excited to share that our popular speakeasy magic shows are now happening every week on Thursdays at Standard Proof – Austin! These captivating evenings feature our very own Joe Walden, whose incredible magic skills leave guests amazed and inspired. we closed out the year with some holiday fun
We closed out the year with a festive holiday pop-up collaboration alongside the Tennessee Whiskey Trail and 11 other incredible Nashville distilleries. Our theme was inspired by the classic holiday film Home Alone, and we went all out to bring the spirit of the movie to life. From decorating the space like Kevin’s booby-trapped house to incorporating nods to the “Wet Bandits,” the atmosphere was both nostalgic and fun. Guests enjoyed specially crafted drink specials that tied into the theme, featuring creative takes on whiskey cocktails with a playful twist. This collaborative event was a fantastic way to connect with the community, celebrate the season, and showcase the innovative spirit of Standard Proof Whiskey in Nashville.
